Initially consisting of two teams, delivering Entry to Employment and Fair Cities, Training Services came together out of a desire to share good practice in contract management and quality delivery. Our experience base widens all the time – our systems are designed to work universally, and our standards are recognised across the region.
Contracts
Our current activities include:
- Management of the Entry to Employment (E2E) Partnership for Bradford and District – currently the best in Yorkshire & the Humber at helping young people progress to Apprenticeships
- Co-ordination of the Fair Cities programme, through which to date we’ve helped over 300 people from deprived wards into jobs
- The Learning Agreement Pilot, working with young people in jobs without training to access qualifications and build up their employability
- Engaging, through the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund, young people for whom education and training hasn’t worked in the past.
