Foreword by Director
Youth Choices is committed to improving the quality of life for young people. Our teams of Personal advisers work closely with young people to offer advice and guidance throughout their transition from school to continuing education and work based learning.
The role of the personal adviser has developed from one of purely careers advice to a much wider holistic role that aims to support young people in a way that is appropriate to each individual.
Youth Choices is striving to contribute to economic targets to reduce the numbers of young people not in employment, education or training (NEET), and is proud of their success, the NEET figure had reduced from 15.3% in Nov 2002 to 8.8% in 2006.
